The Beckers: Family, Home, and the History of SFHS
Join Seneca Falls Historical Society Executive Director Jonathan Monfiletto for a fascinating look at the Becker family and the history of their home, the Becker Mansion. In May 1961, Florence Becker sold the mansion to the Seneca Falls Historical Society after her family had lived there for 70 years. Drawing on extensive research, Jonathan will share the story of the Becker family, their household staff, and how the mansion became home to SFHS. Discover the people and stories behind one of Seneca Falls’ historic homes! Location: Becker Mansion, 55 Cayuga St., Seneca Falls, NY Admission: $8 for SFHS members and $10 for General Admission. Tickets can be purchased and reserved on our website. Advance registration is encouraged to help us prepare for the event, though it is not required.
