How do I submit an event?
Create a free account, then use the Submit Event form to add your event details. Our team reviews submissions and typically publishes approved events within about one business day.
How long until my submitted event appears on the calendar?
Usually about one business day. We review new submissions during regular business hours and publish approved events as quickly as we can. If you submit on a weekend or holiday, your event will typically go live the next business day. You'll get an email as soon as it's approved.
Is it free to list an event?
Yes, listing your event on Finger Lakes Event Guide is completely free.
What area does the calendar cover?
We cover the entire Finger Lakes region of New York, including all eleven lakes and surrounding communities — from Canandaigua and Honeoye in the west to Skaneateles and Otisco in the east.
How often is the calendar updated?
We review and publish new event submissions daily. The calendar always shows the most current information available.
Can I list a recurring event?
Yes. When submitting your event, you can set it as recurring (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) with an end date. All individual occurrences will appear on the calendar automatically.
How do I edit or cancel my event?
Log into your account and visit My Submissions to edit events that are pending review or that need changes. For approved events that need updates, contact us and we'll make the change.
