The History of the Seneca Falls Historical Society

Happy Birthday, Seneca Falls Historical Society! On October 18, 1896, a group of Seneca Falls residents got together to form the Seneca Falls Historical Society to preserve the community’s heritage and traditions. One hundred thirty years later, SFHS continues to steward the history of Seneca Falls and Seneca County and to share the stories of our people, places, and events. SFHS Curator Autumn Thaggard celebrates the history of SFHS with a presentation titled, “Preserving the Fabric of Our Past: The History of the Seneca Falls Historical Society.” Event Details: Date: Saturday, October 17 Time: 2 p.m. Location: 55 Cayuga St., Seneca Falls. Tickets: $8 for SFHS members and $10 for general admission Pre-registration preferred, but not required. Tickets are available on the SFHS website. We look forward to seeing you!
